Jai Guru Deva Om

I thought I would share the only piece of mind I've had all day with all the bloggerso out there...

Jai=Live Forever
Guru=Teacher
Deva =Heavenly One
Om =The Vibration of the Universe

*Across the Universe*

Words are flying out like
endless rain into a paper cup
They slither while they pass
They slip away across the universe
Pools of sorrow waves of joy
are drifting thorough my open mind
Possessing and caressing me

Jai guru deva om
Nothing's gonna change my world
Nothing's gonna change my world
Nothing's gonna change my world
Nothing's gonna change my world

Images of broken light which
dance before me like a million eyes
That call me on and on across the universe
Thoughts meander like a
restless wind inside a letter box
they tumble blindly as
they make their way across the universe

Jai guru deva om
Nothing's gonna change my world
Nothing's gonna change my world
Nothing's gonna change my world
Nothing's gonna change my world

Sounds of laughter shades of life
are ringing through my open ears
exciting and inviting me
Limitless undying love which
shines around me like a million suns
It calls me on and on across the universe

Jai guru deva om
Nothing's gonna change my world
Nothing's gonna change my world
Nothing's gonna change my world
Nothing's gonna change my world
Jai guru deva

Love that song! Have you heard the Rufus Wainwright version? It's being used for some commercial nowadays. I heard it the other day and was like, "Ahh, what a gorgeous song." Plus the Beatles rock. And Rufus Wainwright rocks. It's a win win!

I was actually listening to the I Am Sam Soundtrack (which is AWESOME) and the Rufus W. version is on there. Honestly, I always liked the song Beatles version, but I never knew what the heck they were saying. Now I know it is sanskrit!
